The Challenge

Enstar is a leading global insurance group with 1,300 employees across 27 offices. They were relocating their offices from 88 Leadenhall Street to One Creechurch Place. They would now be occupying 32,000 square feet across two floors.

They needed support to move, update and extend their AV infrastructure and equipment to service an increased number of meeting rooms, boardroom and reception spaces. They also wanted to ensure that they used a system that complemented their unified communications global programme.

The Solution

Marquee One was approached to deliver this project following the successful completion of an integrated video conferencing solution for the Enstar boardroom at the Guildford offices.

Marquee One designed and implemented an innovative solution including:

  • a custom Crestron control solution for the boardroom
  • a centralised system to monitor the equipment integrated across 10 key rooms

These systems enabled Enstar helpdesk staff maximum visibility to control various rooms and the ability to remotely check operations. And the inclusion of the Extron cable cubby auto sensing desk inputs allowed powered up displays and video conferencing as required, and saved energy when not in use.

Finally, by opting for Avaya Video conferencing Enstar achieved a unified communications system.
